The journey begins in 2012 when the brand new S&W Shield is launched on the gun scene and a search for a holster came up empty. Having a need and desire to carry the new pistol they decided to take matters into their own hands, determined to learn the process. Aimed at creating a concealable holster that fits women more comfortably, it quickly evolved into making duty holsters for law enforcement and the competitive shooting world.

From making holsters in a cold frozen shed in Alaska to a new shop in warm Williamsburg, Virginia, Eclipse Holsters officially opened our doors for business in March of 2013. The Eclipse difference is based on hundreds of hours devoted to learning, developing, testing and evaluating different guns and holster designs to create a product line that proudly bears the Eclipse name. The company is backed by our customer service for all shooters including the ones who fear embarrassment by asking questions.
